The Laguna Beach Cast Reunites and They’re Coming Clean About Life After Reality TV

They say high school never ends. But for much of the Laguna Beach cast, so much has changed since they opened their lives up for MTV cameras.

Almost 12 years after fans first met some of the real OC’s most beloved high school students, E! News was able to catch up with much of the gang for an exclusive reunion.

Instead of spending their energy on prom drama or Cabo vacations, much of the cast is now focused on family and business.

Taylor Cole is happily married while Alex Murrel and children’s swimwear designer Morgan Smith are expecting babies.

Christina Sinclair is breaking a sweat while teaching fitness classes at Equinox. Meanwhile, Trey Phillips recently graduated from Parsons, which helped him become a fashion designer for Vera Wang Collection.

Loren Polster is focused on collaborating on a new website titled HugeSportsGuys.com with his close friend Dieter Schmitz. And sorry ladies, Lauren Conrad’s close friend is engaged to a “wonderful woman” named Isabelle and is in the midst of wedding planning while managing EVEN Hotel Times Square South.

Perhaps the biggest transformation goes to Jason Wahler. After cameras stopped rolling, the reality star found himself struggling with the law and addiction.

“I was like, ‘Oh it’s normal. Everyone gets arrested 10 times you know?'” he shared at The Rooftop Lounge at La Casa del Camino Hotel in Laguna Beach. “But I was able to justify a lot of it because addiction is a disease of denial and I couldn’t get out of it.”

With hard work, dedication and support from family and friends, Jason is proud to say he’s been sober for six years. “All great change proceeds from chaos, but I’m so happy and content with where I’m at today,” he shared with E! News’ Erin Lim.

While Lauren Conrad and Kristin Cavallari were unable to make the reunion, much of the cast remains in contact with the successful stars.

“She’s been one of my best friends since growing up,” Dieter shared while at the PHD Terrace at Dream Midtown. “She’s an amazing person.”

Alex added, “I talk to Kristin like weekly. Just from being pregnant and being a mom, she’s given me the best advice.”
